- Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kashipur today concluded its three-day startup event Uttishtha. Uttarakhand chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat made a visit and promised the institute help in building a new hostel for PhD students. The institute’s PhD students currently live around 5 km away from the campus.
- Rawat talked about management traits such as tolerance, dedication towards work, persuasion skills, and asked students to learn aspects of management from them. Rawat also referenced the Hindu god Hanuman, and said that everyone should learn from him because he never saw failure in life and turned failures into success. The CM said that the new generation is making many new discoveries and innovations, and congratulated the startups that had been invited to the event.
